Apart of its artistic productions, Constanza Macras – DorkyPark is also engaged with the organisation of curatorial programs mixing theory and praxis. These programs take place mainly in Berlin but also internationally. Recent programs and projects:
+ SURVIVALISM a cycle of workshops and performances held in Berlin between the 27th August and 15th September 2016. With strange exorcisms and super-heroic figures, mind trainings, hyper-fluid bodies and plant’s watering cans among others, Constanza Macras | Dorky Park and her guests questioned in this cycle what surviving could mean today. + THE PAST – REMEMBERING CITIES THAT NO LONGER EXIST consisted in a two-weeks series of performances and workshops held in Ramallah / Palestine and Amman / Jordan aimed to create a West-East /North-South exchange and collaboration on the ground with local and foreign guest artists (dancers, performers, musicians) and cultural experts. Supported by Allianz Cultural Foundation, the German Federal Cultural Foundation – Dopelpass Fund and Goethe-Institut.
+ I AM WITH YOU a project initiated by Constanza Macras | DorkyPark developed over the span of 2015-2016 that consisted in a series of performances and workshops by and with artists from Berlin and abroad such as Anouk Froidevaux, Mmakgosi Kgabi, Claudia Catarzi, Hector Thami Manekehla, among many others. + DANCING ABOUT ARCHITECTURE an international Symposium curated by Constanza Macras and Lukas Feireiss. Forces of the city clash with forces of bodies within an ever-changing urban society. Against this backdrop, the international symposium Dancing About Architecture curated by Constanza Macras and Lukas Feireiss, brought together diverse positions in the interdisciplinary discussion of dramaturgy, dance, music, architecture and urban space.
